First impression

It is important to be well-groomed for an interview. Wearing a formal suit or something less formal depends on the position you are applying for and the company background and culture. Do some research before your interview and decide what you should wear for it.

Attitude is important

Basically, interviewers would evaluate you by your education, related working experience, skills and techniques, personality and attitude, etc. Why attitude important? Although you have good profile or perfect experience, bad attitude would make you a freak to the team. Having close relationship with teammate would create good company culture which may lead you and the company to success!

Be smart to answer questions

When interviewers ask you a hypothetical question about the job, they are not looking for the model answer. They are giving you an opportunity to prove your ability and talk about your skills. You should take this chance to show your strength and tell them you are the best candidate for the job.

Listen carefully

When your interviewer is giving you information, please stay focus. Good communication skills include listening and eye contact. Observe your interviewer, you can know his/her style and personality and you just try to find a way to communicate with them.

Don’t negotiate about $ during the 1st interview

Everyone wants better salary & benefit package, but it’s unwise to negotiate about it during the first interview. In order to get the updated information, you could approach people who work in that company or the particular industry. You can also get more information at the job hunting websites such as sun-career.com.

Ask questions

Usually Q&A section would be the last part of an interview, when asked if candidates have any questions, most of you say “NO”. Please be ready to ask questions next time. Asking right questions can add bonus on your profile and it gives you the opportunity to find out whether this is the right place for you.
